”You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation,”Brigham Young. This quote describes the effects of women being educated as prosperous. When women are educated the benefits are seen throughout the whole community.
It shows us that women aren’t just thought of as working in a house, or having kids. This shows us the power women hold and how helpful they are to our society. An educated women household is more likely to prosper than an educated mans household. Thus passing on the knowledge to kids and the community.
Therefore the quote illustrates that women will pass down more knowledge than men. While men obtain knowledge just as well as women they don’t seem to pass it on. This explains the significance of the quote because women with knowledge will pass down there information and so on.

“Is it better for a man to have chosen evil than to have good imposed upon him,” Anthony Burgess. The quote is asking a question, not making a statement. It makes one wonder if it is better to choose evil or to have good imposed upon him.
I think the quote illustrates that taking away someones choice to chose evil and only do good is cruel. It makes every choice they make meaningless and pointless. If one has the choice of evil and good they actually have choice to be great.
Therefore the quote creates conflict over the topic of choice and not having a choice. With people having a choice they have meaning. If people can’t choose they are meaningless.
